“Grown on complex clay soils with very little limestone. Once again, the color is quite a deep purple for this vintage, with a good fruit weight. The fresh raspberry fruit is evenly spread across the palate, nicely balanced, with a clean fresh finish, without the fractional volatility of La Charmotte. Drink from 2025-2030. Tasted: November 2022.”

“Earthy and distinctly sauvage aromas of mostly red and dark currant introduce more voluminous, bigger and richer medium-bodied flavors that flash less minerality on the more overtly rustic bitter pit fruit-inflected finale.
