This Privacy Policy explains how Vineyard Brands Collective (“we,” “our,” or “us”)  collect, use, and safeguard your information when you interact with our website and services including any information we collect by telephone, email, mail, or in person when attending events we hold or in winery tasting rooms.

To facilitate a seamless allocation and ordering process and to notify you of product offerings and winery supplier events, tastings, and other promotional events, we may collect:
- Contact Information (provided by winery suppliers or directly by you)
- Billing and Shipping Addresses
- Payment Information (credit card details)

How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

  • Verify shipping eligibility in accordance with state alcohol beverage laws
  • Ensure prompt and accurate shipment and delivery of your wines
  • Process and fulfill confirmed orders once allocations are finalized through a licensed third party retail vendor
  • Notify you of product offerings and winery supplier events, tastings, and other promotional events

We use Non-Personal Information collected by cookies and other Internet tracking technology to remember and store your preferences, improve website navigation, make personalized features and other services available to you, to generate statistical information, monitor and analyze user traffic and usage patterns, monitor and prevent fraud, investigate complaints and potential violations of our policies, to improve the products, services, materials, and other content that we describe or make available through our platform, and otherwise help administer and improve our platform.

Data Sharing

Due to state-specific alcohol beverage regulations, we may utilize licensed third-party fulfillment and logistics providers who handle payment processing and shipment on our behalf or on your behalf and with whom we will share your information to complete such processing, fulfillment, and shipping. These providers are required to maintain confidentiality and data security standards.

We may also share information:

  • To comply with applicable law or reasonable request based upon governmental regulation, court order, subpoena or similar related action.
  • As we deem necessary to protect the rights, property or safety of VBC, our customers, our winery suppliers, our business partners, or others, to prevent harm or loss, or in connection with an investigation or suspected or actual fraud or other unlawful activity.
  • As we deem necessary in the event (or partial event) of a corporate sale (asset or stock), merger, reorganization, change in corporate control, acquisition, insolvency, bankruptcy or similar event.

While no company can guarantee the security of your information, we use physical, administrative and technical controls that are consistent with industry-standard safeguards to protect your personal information, including secure encryption of payment details. We retain personal information based on a number of factors, including (i) for business purposes such as for as long as your account is active, as long as is reasonably necessary to provide you with our services, and for the other purposes we use your information as described above, and (ii) as reasonably necessary to comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes and enforce our agreements. We may also retain archived copies of your information for a reasonable period of time.

Our website may link to other sites that we do not control including but not limited to websites of our winery suppliers. In addition, you may have visited our website through an advertisement on another website or through an advertising service we engage. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of third party websites.

Your Rights
