Cossart Gordon & Co. was established in 1745 and is the oldest company in the Madeira Wine trade. The family joined the Madeira Wine Company in 1958 and to this day, Cossart Gordon Madeiras are considered the very finest available. Bottling exclusively for the US in celebration of America 250.

Clear, crystalline, and radiant, it displays a luminous golden topaz hue with shimmering golden reflections. The bouquet is intense and unmistakably distinctive, revealing layers of citrus marmalade, polished varnish, and warm spices. On the palate, it is remarkably fresh, driven by vibrant citrus acidity that brings energy and lift. Complex and explosive, it envelops the mouth with rich impressions of spice and smoked dried fruits, unfolding into an exceptionally long finish marked by elegant notes of aged brandy and lingering hints of fine tobacco.
