Thibault Liger-Belair crafts biodynamic wines of intensity and finesse from the Côte de Nuits, as well as in Beaujolais.
Thibault Liger-Belair, a cousin of the famous Comte Liger-Belair, founded his domaine in 2001 and quickly established it among Burgundy’s rising stars. Farming is biodynamic, with holdings across Nuits-Saint-Georges, Vosne-Romanée, and Moulin-à-Vent in Beaujolais.
The Pinot Noirs are known for their aromatic depth, intensity, and precision, while the Beaujolais wines, especially from old vines in Moulin-à-Vent, are structured and age-worthy, offering a new dimension to Gamay.
By combining modern sensibility with traditional methods, Thibault Liger-Belair produces wines that are authentic yet innovative.
