Gradis’ciutta, owned by Robert Princic, is one of Friuli’s leading estates, located in the Collio hills along the Slovenian border. The family has farmed these lands for generations, and the estate today is a standard-bearer for high-quality Friulano and other native and international varieties.
The portfolio includes Friulano, Ribolla Gialla, Malvasia Istriana, Sauvignon Blanc, and Merlot. The whites are renowned for their aromatic intensity, crisp acidity, and mineral drive, while the reds are supple and balanced.
Collio’s flysch soils of marl and sandstone, combined with its Alpine and Adriatic influences, produce wines of great complexity and freshness. Gradis’ciutta exemplifies Friuli’s reputation as one of Italy’s premier white wine regions.
