One of Alsace’s crown jewels, Domaine Weinbach was founded in 1612 as a monastery winery and today run by the Faller family. The estate, centered on the Clos des Capucins vineyard, is revered for its biodynamic practices and expressive, site-specific wines.
Weinbach produces outstanding Riesling, Gewurztraminer, Pinot Gris, and Muscat, each showcasing clarity and depth. Single-vineyard bottlings from sites like Schlossberg and Furstentum highlight the power and precision of Alsace’s granite and limestone terroirs. The wines range from dry and racy to lusciously sweet Vendanges Tardives and Sélections de Grains Nobles.
