Domaine Delaporte produces benchmark Sancerres from diverse terroirs centered on their generational home in the hamlet of Chavignol.
Based in Chavignol, Domaine Delaporte is family-owned and today led by Matthieu Delaporte, who has transformed the estate into one of Sancerre’s most exciting domaines. His leadership has emphasized organic farming, low yields, and precise winemaking.
The estate’s Sauvignon Blancs reflect the full range of Sancerre soils: silex (flint) for smoky minerality, caillottes (limestone pebbles) for racy precision, and terres blanches (clay-limestone) for depth and texture. They also produce several Pinot Noirs, offering elegant, mineral-driven reds.
The Delaporte family’s generational connection to Chavignol provides authenticity, while Matthieu’s vision places the domaine at the forefront of Loire Valley quality.
