About This Producer

France – Burgundy (Pommard, Côte de Beaune)

In short: Domaine de Courcel, family-owned for centuries, defines Pommard with structured, cellar-worthy Pinot Noirs that show the range of expressions from this terroir in the Côte de Beaune.

Domaine de Courcel, founded in the 17th century, remains in the hands of the de Courcel family after more than 400 years. This continuity has preserved its identity as one of Pommard’s defining estates.

The domaine’s 10 hectares include Premier Cru sites such as Grand Clos des Épenots and Les Rugiens. Pinot Noirs here are vinified with whole clusters and long macerations, producing wines of intensity, structure, and longevity, true to Pommard’s reputation for muscularity.

By maintaining family stewardship and traditional practices, Domaine de Courcel delivers wines that embody the strength and authenticity of their terroir.
