Few domaines embody the soul of Burgundy in all its facets like Domaine Mongeard-Mugneret.

Rooted in Vosne-Romanée since the 17th century, this family estate seamlessly bridges centuries of tradition with a contemporary, terroir-driven approach to winemaking. Under the direction of Vincent Mongeard, the domaine farms over 74 acres across 37 appellations, including some of the most coveted sites in the Côte d’Or. Each vineyard is worked and vinified with precision, highlighting the nuance of every parcel.

All wines are harvested by hand, hand-sorted, and matured with thoughtful use of oak tailored to each cuvée. Vines average 40–60 years of age, bringing natural concentration and balance to every bottling.

These wines showcase the seductive side of Pinot Noir, especially in a vintage like 2023, a warm growing season with late season heat that produced charming wines with vibrant fruit, supple tannins, and precise aromatics. From the allure of its entry-level wines to the power and pedigree of Grands Crus, Domaine Mongeard-Mugneret crafts wines of depth, elegance, and unmistakable identity.
